Hey Dude I'm still in love with this bike.
I sold my leader 725, and now am torn between the pake french 75 or the green leader 722 heritage! im going stir crazy just waint to find out on the BB info since the heritage uses british threading and I currently have sram omniums & Gxp BB that will be the defining criteria on the decision, rather not have to shop for a new bb & crankset.

btw, did your framset come with the fork stays or did you purchase seperately

Posted over 12 years ago

crackrawksteady

crackrawksteady says:

it all depends on whether do you want a aluminum bike (pake) or a steel bike (leader). anyway both frame's BB are english threading so there will be no problem fitting your omniums. anyway, the carbon fork, headset are included when you buy the frame.

How you like the geometry on the frame.
What size crank arms do you have? 165 or 170? Do they hit when you turn?

Nice ass build btw.

crackrawksteady

crackrawksteady says:

it's a track specific geometry but not too tight. my cranks arms are 165 and they don't smack the floor during turns.

thanks for the compliment!

Since the velosolo chainring is almost as thick as the stock omnium chainring did you use the same chainring bolts or did you buy some singles?

Posted over 12 years ago

crackrawksteady

crackrawksteady says:

i bought a new steel sugino chainring bolts. the omnium ones would not fit the velosolo as it is too long.

Nice Pake!
I like how the white offsets the black n blue....how do you like the sram omniums?
and is there a big difference between the KMC z710sl & the KMC x710sl chains? I've seen both on ebay for about 24-28 bucks

crackrawksteady

crackrawksteady says:

i'm loving the stiffness of the omniums! people are saying that it's comparable to the sugino 75 and miche advanced.

as for the chains, i'm not too sure about it.

anyway thanks for your kind words. :)
