LBS says one spacer isn't enough to get it off the chainstay, but two spacers leaves not enough threads on drive side BB and non drive side sits/rubs on the BB.. I was told this crankset/frame combo would work.. is the LBS wrong?

I had the same problem with the S300 and 75 French. You should take the frame to a bike shop and have the bottom bracket shell faced so the GXP fits better. But still the S300 isn't the best of cranksets for this bike. I was also told that these would fit together but guess they thought the S300 and Omniums are the same thing.

I ended up going with a Shimano instead.. So I have a brand new S300 for sale.

How is it not fitting? Got the wrong bb size? Or the crank is hitting the chainstay? If its htting the crank, add a spacer to the drive side bb
