MrZuffenhausen says:

Yeah, but the little weight weenie in me wants it to dip into the 8s. Carbon seatpost, newer/lighter pedals, and the summer wheels should enable a real mid-8 weight.
Same weight as my aluminum Peugeot!

I love riding the Paris-Tours, it's fast yet comfortable, the geometry is really good imo, but sometimes I suffer against modern 7kg monocoque bikes.

I want to do it just because I can.

look delta pedals?

MrZuffenhausen says:

Yeah, Deltas, they're heavy but they cost next to nothing and that's what matters. I have many bikes, all off them with Deltas, so I don't have to change the cleats off my shoes.
