Mountain bike frame built by Frank Peckham in Long Island, NY. The story goes that it was his first mountain frame which he built for himself to ride. According to the serial number it is frame number 4 (of 197). Many of the original components seem to be pulled from an early Stumpjumper, i.e. bullmoose bars, saturae rims, tomaselli Moto levers. Braze ons for portage strap I think are cool. Not sure what tubing he used, would love to know. Original yellow paint was rough, rattle canned it blue when I was in high school. Decals and paint will be restored in the following months if I can find the time. Piece of American frambuilding history. Spinergy Spox Wheelset is for sale..
