I recommend looking on eBay or some trustworthy websites for a carbon frame

Hi, can u tell me urr bbs axle lenght? I have a same frame, and i tryed a same crank/bb setupp, but when i tried with miche primato 107mm bb the crank collided with the frame. Which bb axle lenght u use??
Posted over 10 years ago
I'm guessing I use the same length? I searched on Google and there seems to be only 107mm. Could be wrong. Also your crank arm length may be too long
Posted over 10 years ago
There are 107/110/113 mm miche bb. In my case, not the end of the crank arm is collideing with the frame, but the "star" part of the crank, where the chain ring meets the crank. So it does not matter how long are my crank arms. If ur chain line is straight, than almost sure u r using a 107 mm bb. I would be rly pleased, if u would post a picture tottaly from the back of the bike, where i can see the chainline. Have a nice day dude. THX!

Thx anyway, ill try a bigger bb, but it will ruin my chainline... :( Have a nice day dude!

i got excellent condition 2012 ellipses that i wanna sell. $400 plus shipping if you're down
Posted over 11 years ago
You definitely need to go clipless to get a better ride haha. Also, what's the size on the frame? It looks like a 51 or 52?
Posted over 11 years ago
would look real dope on those Ellipses :D
Posted over 11 years ago
Lol. Mavic Ellipses are nothing close to light. They're made for the track in mind, that being said, they're extremely stiff and quite heavy for a low spoke count aluminum wheelset.
Posted over 11 years ago
they are 1996g but i think the 2013 ellipse are a bit lighter im not so sure.
Posted over 11 years ago
Exactly. 1996 grams for an aluminum wheel set with 20 spokes front and rear is not light at all. When you add tubes and tires it comes out to 2500 grams. Weight doesn't matter at all on a track, but I'm just putting this out there and pointing it out because most people who choose to ride these on the road choose them because they're "super light" wheels, when reality they're not.

goddamnit... <3

Haha it's nothing special. I think it's 12k carbon, so it's not the rarest, but it's supposedly one of the stiffest carbon out there. The frame design is common in many carbon frames I have seen. My dream frame is probably the Broakland Pipebomb and Dosnoventa Houston, so I'll be looking into those.
Posted over 11 years ago
Wait, I think I'll pass on both of those.. They're too fucking expensive haha.

What's the hype on the Ellipses...
Nothing really special about them

What other real clincher options does one have, that doesn't require custom building.
