The original plan was to dress this baby up with a full (vintage if I can find 'em) Italian parts set up. But as with anything in life, original+pretty = expensive. Family is prio #1 so whatever functions + looks good will do for now.

Sorry guys but I've been busy attending to other matters.
It looks like my Peli' is finally on its way - yay! Expect to receive it in a few days. It did take (quite) a bit longer than the advertised 50-60 days but since last summer sucked big time, I didn't bother too much. I believe I have everything i need to build it up so that's a nice job for next weekend :)
The pic that I've added is supposed to be my frame set. Of course I'll post some more shots once it has arrived. Stay tuned...

me too - countdown timer's been updated :) Averaging almost 40 views per day (!) since posting so there definitely is some interest in a Peli' Pista GP. Well, at least Pelizzoli gets some hits and probably some orders as well, and they should. No, I'm not sponsored/, but wouldn't mind of course :)
slowly the parts are arriving at my door. Got the BB today. Awaiting headset (from US) and pedals (HillaryStone - UK). Been eyeing some nice Campy seatposts on ebay and chainrings elsewhere but I keep reminding myself that I should keep the focus on my main project (a car :) for 3yrs now so obviously there's choices to be made. Oh, did I mention that i saw a real nice set of Gipiemme Pista techno 032 wheels? :)

Noooo, only saw but not gonna buy :) Can't afford "nice to haves" at this moment.

yes. i know. prices are good...its former ciöcc builder as far as i know...

you're right, [Giovanni] Pelizzoli did create the Ciöcc brand in '69 but apparently sold it in '80, so technically speaking he isn't involved in post 80s Ciöcc bikes/frames :)
btw, I managed to locate a reasonably priced Gipiemme special pista BB set to match my crankset. Hope I'll get a positive answer tomorrow. x-ing my fingers!

yes! dude's got two sets so I need to check with him which one I'm gonna take.
I've got a set of brand new low profile alloy rims with Ambrosio hubs. They're on my Peugeot for now. No deep V type of wheels cuz they make the bike look so bulky. Besides, I just love the old skool look :)

yeah..you are right about the rims..low flange rims will look great. :-)

Yay, I managed to get hold of 60s/70s Campa record track pedals in good/excellent condition for a reasonable £69 :) So I only need to decide on the chainring size and then I'm set =)
