Such a gorgeous bike. How do you lock it up through the fat rims?
Posted over 10 years ago
Kind words! Thank you! I lock it up to the frame itself. It'sa gamble but I don't leave my bike for long though I'm weary about getting the wheels stolen sometimes lol!

I need a pair of those wheels. Nice looking build

I appreciate that man! I've been riding on it every day for over 6 months and haven't had a problem! Just a little out of true but nothing's stopping me. Your Dolan is murdered out, so beast!

Looks beastly, how does it ride?
Posted almost 11 years ago
Well, for one, it's TIG welded. I was a little weary at first as I'm weighing at 79kg and not much of a flow rider.
Fast forward 4 months after constant usage, bashing, potholes, a few falls, vigorous riding and such, I can still vouch for this frame. I ride it every day through the worse of street conditions and still haven't had anything to complain about. The slight pursuit geometry is a plus for me too!
Everything is all straight. 35mm fork rake leaves no toe overlap while cornering.
Verdict? It rides all good and smooth. A NJS-inspired frameset that leaves a lot to be desired.

how is the rear 88? holding up good? is it the on on ebay cause im thinking of getting one
Posted almost 11 years ago
I ride with the wheels every single day without a problem. Ive jumped off kerbs, got stones and rocks nicked the outer rim, skidded on it and both front and back still hold up true.
No cracks, nothing. These Chinese wheelsets does the job for me than forking out a bomb for ZIPP/Reynolds etc.
It's as good as the reviews you see around the net.

Dope bike but ditch those cranks!
Posted about 11 years ago
Dude, tell me about it! Looking at a pair of omniums. This cranks will hold until the omnium. I appreciate your comment! Thank you!

Hmm, not really fond of Sugino's design. I could get a cheaper alternative cranks and put on a Sugino chainring and I still won't like it. Probably some NJS cranks or Dura Ace in the future.

Hey man! I appreciate the compliments! I got the wheels second hand off another. It's been more than half a year of constant foot jams and skidding and I can't find a single fault on the wheelset!
It's slightly out of true but it's nothing a spoke wrench can't fix!
If it helps, he bought it off www.baixiangbikes.com but of course eBay sells the same wheelsets too!
If it hekp
