Originally I wanted to build this frame up with a Campagnolo C-Record group but I figured that a frame this nice should be put to use... so I went with a modern Dura Ace 7800 group... this thing rides like a dream!

Thanks! Rides better and smoother than any new bike I have tried! It's 20lb which is damn good considering it's SLX tubing

Wow - a "modern" classic. Did you have any issues with the width of the rear stays & 10 speed?

Hi, thanks! You have to have the rear stays set to 130... Just make sure to get an experienced mechanic with proper campagnolo dropout aligning tools to do it... I also had the stays on my Cambio Rino closed inwards to be the proper width for a track wheel... Some ppl just swing them open and slide in the wheel... This is a bad idea because your dropouts are now angled outwards and when you tighten the quick release you put strain on the dropouts thus causing them to potentially crack over time...

Thanks! It rides really nice! It is a regular road frame... Maybe the chromed rear triage is throwing the look of the geometry off (it has normal road geometry)

Amazing build!
I don't know too much about road bikes but the geometry on this looks more like a track frame for some reason. Can someone clarify this?

YUM!
Mines the other way round Dura Ace wheels and Ultegra everything else. You're so right about the ride quality of the SLX tubing too.
