I see you have changed from Vertu to another saddle. How it was for you? How did you like that Vertu remake of Tioga saddle?

it surprisingly comfortable for the price. I recommend it if you're under a tight budget. as far as durability goes, I've only had it for a couple months but so far its holding up well.

it could use a 16t cog otherwise that 55t is useless...

its not really useless because if I decide to go up 19T for a lower gear ratio or down to 17T for a higher gear ratio, id have a good amount of gear inches to whichever one I switch to with having alot of skid patches if I do decide to skid stop. 16T is too big of a ratio for me when commuting from red lights to gradual hills.

Why 55t chainring?

flipzor says:

I could use higher number tooth cogs and maintain a good ratio, not too light or too heavy, and I have 36 skid patches on this ratio, which is good for street. Plus the looks too, LOL.

Any trouble putting on the Omniums?

the omniums fit great, no problems. chainline could be a little better but not too bad.

Otherwise, that bike is super legit. If you need a nice paint to protect the frame check out Dupli-Color Effex clear coat...it's real cool.

Having the tire logo right over the valve stem isn't required...

It does if you care at all about properly building a bicycle. Have fun finding those steel radial punctures
