Raleigh USA Track

Info about this frame from a feller whos name is "Rick" via e-mail:"I worked at the Raleigh plant in the US for many years and find it odd that this bike has Technium decals on it. It is clearly not a Technium frame and the US plant never produced Track frames with the exception of the limited number of frames built by Denise Bushnell in the special projects area for various team members (and the stay ends look very much like his work)." I still can't find any solid information on this frame despite the fact that I've had it for about six years now.

This is steel right? My guess it was labeled Technium to advertise the brand at track events. The Techniums were a hard sell back then(due to some early problems with "glue and screw"process that were corrected)and Raleigh needed the exposure. That's a good looking bike regardless. Enjoy

Yeah it's 531 steel. Thanks for the comments. The stamped seat stays are really what throws me off.
