Thomson elite seatpost and stem. A smaller frame and some gumwall tires!
Posted over 11 years ago
i have considered all of those parts except for the thomson seat post. the frame fits me fine, i would only 'like' to have a smaller one. which will happen because like i've mentioned a few times i'd like to upgrade frames soon or trade this one. my seat post and stem are both good quality and those arent parts that change comfort or anything so these will do fine until i find an access of money or need a different size .

i do want to get a set of nice track drops like some deda's or fyxation comet drops.
Posted over 11 years ago
i do really appreciate it though because your opinion that gum walls would look nice on this makes me feel better about getting some. haha

You're very welcome! I would suggest road drops, but whatever you want to do.
Posted over 11 years ago
i've got some road drops that i've been using on longer rides and they aren't very comfortable just because my frame is a bit too big. some ergo drops maybe or some track bars like i mentioned is what i've been considering.

Was looking into a flite 100, they're nice, along with yours, but took a different path, awesome bike dude

I love mine, and i put the nicest parts i could afford on it over the course of the summer and i don't think i'd rather have anything else. a frame upgrade would be my only change.
I looked at your bikes and i can only suggest you do something like me and save up and buy one good part at a time because components are completely worth it when you get a nice frame. (of course you already have the FTP) I have the components now i am just saving and deciding on what nicer frame i will purchase. haha

yeah, I understand. I'm still looking to change a bunch of my components one at a time, haha. Good luck on upgrading your frame man.

I"m really starting to think Bareknuckle or Dodici... what's your dream frame at the moment?
Posted over 11 years ago
oh yes i would REALLY love to have a Pellizzoli. I quit thinking about cdales so much because theyre so hard to find in good condition and i'd like to have something new.
Posted over 11 years ago
if it was going to be my dream frame i'd be spending all my savings on any ways haha

Yeah finding them is a pain. I agree about getting a Pellizzoli. So id say either that or the Colossi 5 will be mine one day...

Looks nice man! what size tires are you using there?
Posted over 11 years ago
they're 28c, but i'm going to replace them when they wear out with some rando 25's. the toe over lap is so bad right now with these. they're the ones the wheel set came with.

Looks perfect dude. dont sell the frame. That thing looks like its got miles of enjoyment ahead for you and it. I'm posting up a new pic of my Cinelli in a second with the new upgrade fyi.

built up my kilo with all the same parts. sadly this frame was too big for me. :/ i loved it, though. if you need help sourcing parts, let me know man! i got that frame from eBay for cheap. it's the same exact frame as the kilo but doesn't have the water bottle bolts and had matte paint.
