This frame was released in 2006 and is an evolution of the Louis Garneau pursuit series. These frame sets predate all Leader frames. In 2006 this frame set retailed for $1200 (frame & fork only) this was expensive due to the hand finished welds, these were painstakingly hand sanded and smoothed over so that when the paint went on, you had an immaculate finish. The geometry is tight! There is toe over lap and when you ride this on the road you need to keep your wits about you at all times. This is the only Aluminum frame set I own. When I got it in 2007 I put black tape over the logos, soon after I stripped all the paint so it was raw, then painted it black and at the moment it is Burgundy. This bike is intoxicating, I only ride it when I want to race anywhere because it makes you want to go fast!!
