After years of riding a Mountain Cycle San Andreas and loving it, it was time for a new ride. I built this bike to be a moden day San Andreas. It's light, does everything really well and it's super durable.
Frame:
SC Nickel LT. This is a SC Nickel with a 57mm stroke (LT) Rock Shox Monarch RT3 shock instead of a 50mm stroke shock. Eye to eye length is the same, so the geometry is unchanged. Travel is 145mm.
Fork/Headset:
Rock shox 150mm RLT Dual Air/Cane Creek 110
Crankset/Bottom Bracket:
XT
Pedals:
Straight Line Amp or Egg Beaters depending on what type of riding I'll be doing.
Drivetrain/Cog/Chainring/Chain:
Cassette: XT 11-34. Chainrings: 20-32-44, 20 is a Action-Tec ring for climbing power. Chain: KMC 10SL Gold
Derailleurs/Shifters:
XT/SRAM Rocket with Jagwire cables
Saddle/Seatpost:
Tioga Spyder(very comfortable)/Thomson Masterpiece with Niner collar (old high school class mate ownes Niner, had to have a Niner part on there)
Brakes:
Hayes Stoker Trail with Alligator rotors and semi metallic pads
Front Wheel/Hub/Tire:
Spinergy Enduro wheel with WTB Mutano race 2.4
Rear Wheel/Hub/Tire:
Spinergy Enduro wheel with WTB Mutano race 2.4
Accessories:
Cateye Strada Wireless computer
More Info:
27 pounds and rides like a dream!!

I wish I had a good fixed/SS roadie with bullhorns. That will be my next bike.
