I believe it is an early 80s Saronni Pista. Saronni Pista frames had been made by Colnago in late 70s - early 80s, just before the brand was bought by Tecnotrat which made Saronni badged bikes later on. All the Saronni's made by Colnago I have seen ont the internet had the club cutout on the bottom bracket but not this one. Although it has the same front lugs as Colnago's and the S casts in the lower front lug I still don't know if it has been made by them or not. Feel free to give me some details if you are an expert. A special thank you to Emanuel Ferretti for the wonderful work he made on the fork. Check his work at wwww.revanchebikeco.wordpress.com

nice... BB height seems low, is there a reason ?

I can't really explain it.
This is not the stock fork but I am not sure this change something about it.

Look pretty rad! see youve got the same problem with the seatpost, its too short -.-' Im searching for a long campa centaur NOS seatpost. Only the wheels needs to be replaced

Thanks!
Yep Big issue with the seat post, and I am not really confident with it. I would be very sad to damage the SP tube with it... Wheels are the next step!

So it's a Saronni built by Colnago painted in PDM Videocassettes livery but with Ciocc instead of Concorde (both built by Pelizzoli) decals? hahaha love it!

Haha yes I think this one has a long story behind. Before I bought it, when I first saw the classified I told myself that a ciocc would be really nice, then I saw the saronni casts on the seat stay and then I was really wondering why a PDM color scheme. Saronni pista are known for their very fragile paint job so it might be the reason why it ends like that...

Beautiful. Yellow/black decals on white is my favorite color combo. So classy.

Thanks man,
I was not a big fan of the black & white with the yellow decals when I bought it, but now that the bike is built up I really start to like it !
