To ride a Schindelhauer with normal chain is no technical problem - or?

This was an early stage of a custom build. I use the belt drive now. But no, it's no problem. I use a different crank set for chain/belt though.

Thanks. I am planing to buy a hektor frameset. Want to use it with normal chain. Schindelhauer told me not to do it. But I think there won't be a technical doubt to do it.

They have improved the design greatly since I bought this. I'm very fond of the new dropout mechanism. I don't really understand why you wouldn't run a belt drive though, it's a really amazing system. I've been running mine for over 5 years and still haven't had to replace or repair any of the parts. Not even maintenance.
But I rode a chain for a long time aswell, with no issue. Schindelhauer is an amazing company, and they helped me a lot with this build by designing a custom adapter to fit my chain line. Much respect to them.

Nah, just alloy.
It's a Deep V with a teak finish.

Do you have more details on that frame? I've never even heard of it before.
