was looking at a set of MADFIBERS but money went into otherthings so am looking at dura ace C24's instead should save 150-200g over mavic

Custom wheels with carbon tubular rims and light hubs should do the job. You can be under 1 kg per set with this configuration with low profile rims (20-24 mm) and you can save around 500 grams.

you are correct BUT 1.i dont want tubs im not a dentist 2.they woudnt be stiff with such shallow rims and the spoke count would be pretty low too, so not stiff.
i have looked at stanz alpha 340's/cxray/tune but wouldnt be stiff enough either with the spoke count,then more spokes would be too heavy.if you would like to discuss further PM me :)
