Yep, I’m in my 50’s and just recently tried fixed gear and it is not for me! I picked up the frame and fork unbuilt for $75 from a friend and built it. If you decide to go freewheel 700C, you’ll need long reach recessed mount calipers, I found the Tektro R559’s fit perfectly!
