if felicien is reading, didn't mean to accidentally delete your comment, just don't know how this site works on mobile. to answer your question: don't overthink it. yes, it was a tad twitchier, so wouldn't tour on the ritchey carbon fork, but i rode this exclusively on single track and gravel roads, and it was awesome.

thanks a lot! I actually have the Soma through-axle steel fork for touring, and plan to get the Ritchey for gravel and single track riding.
