This new drivetrain is really silent, i can't notice the difference in the lower friction thanks to the smaller interface but i like the looks

Theres just something about low profile wheels that help bring the frame into subject. Nice build

thanks, i totally agree with you, the frame is popping out with these wheels

clean indeed. but aero crankset and low profile rims are a mismatch.
Posted almost 2 years ago
I really like the contrast between them and i don't like deep rims (it's windy all year around here)

so many pros even ride track with wheels like those. Racedaywheels for raceday.

Im gonna have to side with the op... my plan is to do the same combo (aero crankset/ Archetypes) after Christmas holidays.. sorry to hyjack. PROPS to the build

i think the combination looks good too. dont get me wrong, but for me it is form follows function allways. archetypes are semi aero btw.

^you right. I just assume 40mm sidewalls are the mark... ive had both and find arond 30 is the sweetspot for weight/stregth benefits.. im no engineer tho

How do you like the wheels? I'm looking at building something very similar with the same hubs

They are awesome, the 46mm profile is a good all-around. Mack hubs is clearly the best that you can get, they are really smooth and convenient to work with

Looks like you have 24 holes, how strong and durable are they in terms of skidding, jumping curbs and such?

hugues says:
24 holes is really fine for my riding, i rode these wheels a lot and they are still true as new (i am not a heavy person so this might help too)

I'm pretty light myself as well do I reckon 24h will be fine. Thanks for the input and sweet bike man!
