Thanks sloman! I'm planning on a few 1-3 day trips around the greater SF bay area just to get started, and build up from there. Yesterday I did a daytrip from Mountain View to San Francisco and back (picture posted), and it went great. On the list so far is a 2 day trip to Petaluma (to visit Lagunitas brewery), and 3 day trip to Sacramento. In the long run at some point I'd like to do SF bay area to San Diego, and SF bay area to Portland.
