Thinking about getting rid of my commuter track bike for a CX bike (that would double as a winter bike), was looking into the Crosscheck but only found setups with either a massive stack of spacers or build up as a tourer. Love how it looks with a carbon fork and EDGE stem.

That's an absurd chainring for 35c tires!
Still one of my favorite bikes here!

What a nice overhaul from your previous setups!!! Really Nice.

sweet cross. do you use it offroad?

Yeah hard pack dirt and a little mud now and then. Mostly just bunny hopping stuff on the way to work.

That looks like a whole lot of fun! How are the skinnier B43s handling the larger tires?

I like this a lot! I have a langster pro but am contemplating selling it and doing a SS rig of some sort. Need to have less stress on the knees. How do you like it? I thought about doing an SS rig with a BMW Gangsta track. Thoughts?

Thanks! I like SS a lot for off road. Less chain slap etc. and you can jump the crap out of it!! A little bland on the streets though w/ such light gearing (36x16)

Ive recently gotten back into road and I LOVE how it feels. No stress on the knees and I feel ive ridden fixed long enough to appreciate it to not ride it anymore. How much was your set up?

I feel the same way about fixed...4 years on the street was enough! haha Its hard to say what she cost because I work at a shop and got a lot of parts cheaply. Frame fork ~$200, wheels were given to me. Everything else was ordered at cost through work. Probably a sub $500 bike.

dickeysezso says:
Can you go any bigger than a 2.1"? I have some mtb tires lying around that I think might be 2.2's, I'd like to see if they'll fit.
