I was thinking about picking up those Controltech ti/carbon bars. How do you like them?

I cracked the bottom bracket on this frame only after 3 weeks of riding so I cannot comment on the bars other than the vibration dampening when riding with hands on the tops felt great.

real nice bike, where did you bought this frame and wheels?

China. I can't recommend this frame as I cracked the bottom bracket after 3 weeks. They did not want to replace the frame so this will be the last time I buy a Chinese Titanium frame.

This is pretty much the most aggressive looking bike I've ever seen. Love it.
Oh, and don't smoke, that shit's nasty.

Nice! How is the chainring?
Posted over 9 years ago
The chainring is quite nice. It is super quiet and smooth. I use them on my geared bikes and they are more durable than people think. For this bike I ordered the chainring for use with 1/8 chains and paid an extra surcharge to have it made extra thick for stiffness.

This chainring cost the same as my Rotor noQ 144BCD Track ring. It weighed 89 grams for 49 Tooth.

This is super cool! Yeah and like Pwebb said, a more tight clearance would really look good on the thing! :)

But i don't understand - aluminium is much lighter material than titanium so it doesn't make sense that the frame is lighter

Wheelbase is pretty short. He just has the wheel slammed to the rear of the drop outs.
If I went the custom route. It would have been XCR/953 stainless steel. Lighter and stronger than Ti.
But darn. This is nice. :) !

I noticed the saddle. You are right. I haven't ridden the bike yet. I just finished putting it together this morning. I am gonna get injured if I keep the saddle like that!

awesome frame. that said, take some links out of the chain or change your track gearing when you take pictures because it could look so much better!!!
also saddle angle is whack.
cool frame though. and it's light, go figure
