Nice! How do you like it? Did you get the paint-matched fenders?

Hey, I haven't put many miles on it yet but during shake down I'm enjoying how smooth it feels. Coming from my previous commuter the low BB and slack head angle definitely improve comfort. Obviously I also went for speed with the 46t chainring, and the knobby tires will be replaced with fat slicks soon. I did not get paint matched fenders as I wanted the cheapest possible frame ($540 total) but maybe I will get some down the line.

Definitely think the matching fenders complete the look and feel of this bike. The lower BB is definitely the magic sauce for these. I preferred the V1 to the V2 due to the straight 1-1/8" steerer, the V2 was a little too stiff in the front end. I definitely regret selling my V1 and am trying to get it back actually, I was just so fucking over disc brakes when I sold it. The Bilenky project is an attempt to focus on the best parts of that bike and tune out the rest. But I really just miss having a bike that could absorb anything, rain or shine, and that was fast if I wanted it to be. I think another essential element of that bike were the 650b wheels. I tried setting it up with some 700c wheels from my GF's bike, and it rode completely different. How are you feeling now after some more time in the saddle?
