This is a beautiful little Italian racing gem from the early 80s that I rebuilt with more up-to-date components. The paint was in poor condition so I decided to strip, repaint/decal and clear coat with durable 2K protector.
Frame:
51cm Torpado with Columbus Aelle tubing and Campagnolo dropouts
Fork/Headset:
Original Torpado Columbus fork and original Modolo headset
Crankset/Bottom Bracket:
Original Campagnolo bottom bracket with Original Modolo 170mm cranks
Pedals:
Vintage Shimano SPD Road pedals
Drivetrain/Cog/Chainring/Chain:
Modolo 53 & 42 chain rings, New Everest aluminum 28-12 8 speed freewheel, Sram 8 speed Chain
Derailleurs/Shifters:
Used Campagnolo Chorus front and rear derailleurs. Sachs 3X8 Brake levers/shifters.
Saddle/Seatpost:
New Selle Royal women's Saddle. 27 mm 3t seatpost
Brakes:
Used Campagnolo Veloce dual pivot front and rear Pads are new
Front Wheel/Hub/Tire:
Used Nici HR2 High performance rims laced onto Miche Competition hubs/ New Serfas SECA 25mm tire with white stripes
Rear Wheel/Hub/Tire:
Used Nici HR2 High performance rims laced onto Miche Competition hubs/ New Serfas SECA 25mm tire with white stripes.

The Frame paint is Lazer Blue Pearl with Arctic blizzard white Lug details. The Torpado decals / frame tubing decals are original reproductions in1 mil plastic from Velocals under the clear coat. The Clear coat is Airmax 2K Custom Auto clear coat. All parts were reconditioned and hand polished to a bright or mirror finish.

Good job, did you have to re chrome the forks? I recently used chrome effect powder coating for forks

Fortunately the forks were in pretty good shape, I used tin foil and water to remove a few light rust spots and the polished with Mother's metal polish. Same with the chrome chain stay and dropouts.
