Hey bro, need help! hope you get back to me soon! I bought the visp trx frame along with fork, it will be coming soon. I just want to know if you have to take it to a shop to do installation of the headset? like the tool they use to apply the pressed frame races for the fork or is it already installed?

Whattup man, headset doesn't come installed. I did it myself with a block of wood and a hammer lol the crown race took me a good minute but wasn't to hard. good luck!

YO, i recommend getting a 68-103 bottom bracket my old shimano 68-107 did not give me a straight chain line and my drivetrain really noisy

damn bro.. thank god I did not order the bottom bracket yet. On the add it says it is recomended to use 68-106-108 but you are saying i should try 68-103. how did it work out for you? any new pictures?

i know it says that, but i started hearing a weird metal to metal sound, i thought it was just maybe lube the chain, but a couple days went by and then i heard it again, i took it in to a shop, they measured it out and notice that it wasnt straight and recommended a shorter bb 68- 103, after that was installed huge difference lol, nah no new pictures i should of took pics of it before and after, if your in doubt, take it in a shop and have them measure it out to match your back cog to insure a straight drivetrain line before purchasing your bottom bracket

No it hasn't the guy I bought from online he was on a trip without noticing his customers. So i was a little worried because I ordered it on the 8th. He said hew ill add in a seatpost, a front headtube bag, and spacers for free.. but it will be delivered on friday. It was so hard finding bottom brackets that the guy recommends, but you kind of made my job easier because there are so many 68 x 103 around... I gotta look for a good one, even so, I will "learn" how to measure it before I buy a bottom bracket. hopefully there is some information online on how to measure your bottom bracket space on the frame.

Oh by the way, you know how I asked you about the headset installation. Instead of that hammer trick which I am a little afraid of, i went to home depot (if you live in north america) and got myself a long threaded iron rod, along with washers in which two are non-metal that will get in contact with the frame, and i got two bolts at the ends of the rod.... cost me less than 6 dollars for the whole tool. Lol just thought you should know.

ya i live in california, lol i seen that headset custom made tool on youtube too but i didnt want to go to home depot or lowes lol. but ya that would definetely work too. i see thats why this other dude didnt get his frame yet lol hopefully he gets hooked up with some parts haha

haha, i hope he does too! btw dude, i got same kind of frame as you without the "visp" decals on it, it will be just flat plain.. but how did you get that decal on your bike? any special website? I want to get "Ninja" written on it as big of font as yours, but in black... I know my frame is black, but i want a shiny black font.. i want whole bike to be just black. let me know how u got that decal/sticker done.
