commute is also all I really do and I still cant like them. there's a problem with max. pressure. you always hit the rim on potholes somehow ! anyways !

Rando's give me more confidence when riding over debris such as glass, rocks, thorns, etc. I also like having a matching tire set :)

thisisdish says:

thankss! :) i got it from a local store in my country Indonesia..its pretty rare here, but theres one or two store or person who sell that rims, araya are common in Indonesia so many type of araya are sold here :)

maybe you can go to local store in japan like njs-export.com or tracksupermarket.com i think they had some of em :)

anyway, there's two type of araya that i love most, its the CTL-385 and VX-400 its really great rims ;)

DayumPanda says:

Here in California, USA very few stores carry Araya wheels/rim therefore it is really hard to find a good condition set at a affordable price. Cheers to your wheelset though!

is your clearance between your crank and the bb cups tight? mine is unbelivably tight

Posted over 11 years ago

DayumPanda

DayumPanda says:

No my clearance is fine. What size BB are you using?

Posted over 11 years ago

normanseno

normanseno says:

thats the problem, i forgot to take note about the axle length haha. could it be because of my crank arms?

Posted over 11 years ago

DayumPanda

DayumPanda says:

As long as the BB is square taper and 107mm or higher than it should be fine. If its too tight then it is probably your BB being too short. You could try taking off the cups.
