Ohh so that vouge on the Encino Velodrome is yours... i saw it on the video and really sure that vouge familiar to me LOL. At least you win last year. But your vouge is one of a kind, rarest around :)

Just read that you stripped off the stays by your self. so clean... My most fav bike in this site. Clearcoat the bb lugs soon. Can't wait to see another bike from you. SUPERB!

how do you like the map bar? considering picking one up...
Posted about 13 years ago
love it. highly recommended. I favor the drops more now, but those map/esl/bell cockpit is a keeper. I cut about an inch off both ends since I planned to ride it brakeless =)
I would get map over VO milan bar.

nice! what bartape is this?
Posted about 13 years ago
generic cloth tape wrapped in harlequin pattern. black on black :) oh, then few coats of shellac applied.

Did you strip the paint yourself? What did use to do it?
Posted over 13 years ago
JASCO. I wouldn't use masking tape. JASCO penetrated through after letting it sit for a while. It's nasty strong and I burnt so much skin stripping the VOGUE...

you stripped the stays? nice job, looks good. did you do any post prep on it? clearcoating or anything?
Posted about 13 years ago
nothing... the reason I'm getting a little rust around the BB lugs :(
will clearcoat it when I have enough time to spare.
