Oh, so *you're* the one who swapped the V6 for the V5! I'm with you. You write that the V6 has toe overlap issues, but could it have more issues than any other Cutter. Is its headtube angle steeper? I'm digging for extra details 'cause I'll need to know if there's an issue with the V6 - in case I find one down the road, etc. Tnx.

No. They are the same. The v6 can run bigger tires. They are rated for 45c it seems. If you were to put a 45c on a cutter, the toe overlap would be horrible. VS say a thrasher, or hurricane or whatever 700c fgfs is popular these days. If you wanted to barspin a 700c, then a thrasher is a better choice. http://clingerposse.wordpress.com/2010/...

I like this build as well, but why the switch the older frame? I did like the volume cut-out, and what people were doing with it though.

Thanks. The v5 is more suited for me. I don't need the huge tire clearance / seat tube curve of the v6. Have always liked the lite blue v5, and kinda had an impulse buy when I saw one on ebay. :)
