Bought for and with my friend this beautiful bike on ebay. Poor description and bad pictures lead to a good price. Seems to be fully original, ridden by a old man to work... Took everything apart, cleaned and freshly greased the bearings. New tires and tubes, new cables and outer cables, new chain, new straps, new hoods and a new handlebartape were mounted. Later the seatpost and saddle were replaced. Looking now for a more ergonomic and better looking handlebar... Love the details on this slighly simple frame! Changed in tuscany the cassette to a black, bigger and more mountain friendly one.

Have a look at the Deda Piega (26mm clamp), I use it on my casciani and is so nice, one of the only compact shaped bar for quill stem around! (and quite cheap as well)

Gotta say, the clean up is spectacular! Add in some nitto cockpit and seatpost and it'll be perfect with the Shimano

Thank you!
Actually we've gone for a Shimano 600 stem (Nitto). Not very perfect but it looks stunning!
