Built this up and it was real fun but the disc brake mount threads got stripped :(

Painted the frame with an unclearcoated rattle can job. Not very smooth but the paint on a mtb should get destroyed anyways if thrashed properly.
Only problems with this bike are a few small paint flaws, abused but 100% functional cranks, and the fork will have to be replaced. Unless you only wanna run a rear brake...
Only selling cause I got a deal on a dream cross bike and didnt have cash to fix the fork
21 pounds as pictured. Add a 26" 80-120mm travel fork and this bike be killer on more technical trails
