Hi, I'm looking to part with my Steamroller build. The frame is only a couple of months old, and it is in near mint condition. There's no dents, scrapes, just a flew light blemishes. I'm asking 425usd shipped. With the frame set I will include a Thomson seat collar. Price is OBO.
You're asking more than the price of a new Steamroller frameset?
Is it? I based it off Canadian pricing. It's adjusted now. Cheers.
That doesn't look like a 56cm Steamroller.
That's a 53cm
No, it's definitely a 56cm.
I owned a 56 Steamroller and I don't remember the headtube being that short. That looks a lot smaller than I remember. Have you measured it?
You definitely don't have a 56. The more I look through images, the more I think you have a 53.
Trust me, it is a 56cm. I see what you're saying about pics; however, the physical evidence holds more weight than pics do. I have other bikes and have owned a couple rollers in the past. I can put the bike next to my other bikes as a reference, but again, I'm 100% sure that it is a 56cm.
You should show a pic with a tape measure to put this to rest
I wonder what the size of the frame is...
I am 100% positive you do not have a 56 Steamroller. Measure the ST and TT and compare to the geo charts. I will bet you a set of handlebars.
It does look realllly close to my 53.
the headtube does look smaller compared to Toque's other 56 steamrollers...
Wow, this became quite the topic. I haven't had time to measure the frame, but comparing pics it does look like a 53. I stated I was sure it was a 56 because that was supposed to be the size I ordered; oh well, ces la vie. If I'm wrong I will admit it.
