Selling my 1997 Bontrager Privateer Comp. It's a size Medium and in overall decent condition. No dents or cracks on any of the components, just scrapes and paint chips from use. Rideable and functional as is but may benefit from cleaning the cables out or recabling all together. This one's a rider. Shifting and brakes are adjusted properly and wheels are true.
Some key points:
-Double butted CroMo frame MiUSA, Size M
-RockShox Judy XC Fork
-Nearly complete 8-speed Deore XT build (sans v brakes and cranks). FD RD Shifters Levers and Hubs are all XT.
-Rear rim is Mavic 217. Front is Bontrager Mustang.
-Tom Ritchey seatpost made by Nitto
-New Bontrager saddle
-Front shifter is missing the small clear plastic window that covers the red indicator (purely aesthetic)
-Bontrager stem, bar, and bar ends
-Specialized Ground Control tires in tanwall, lots of tread and no punctures
