SOLD:
Colnago Team Buckler Frame
Appears to be either a Super, C-92 or C-94 ?
Seat tube ctc: 56.5cm
Top tube ctc: 56.5cm
Seat tube ctt: 58cm
Head tube: 143mm
Steer tube: 1" fork
Rear dropout spacing: 126mm
Bottom bracket: 70mm Italian
Seatpost diameter: 27.2mm
Brakes: Road caliper (recessed allen type)
Wheel size: 700c
Nicely crafted hand built Colnago frame. Appears to be circa early 90's. No Columbus decals remain to denote exactly which tube model this is, but certainly of Columbus tubing. The bottom bracket shell is stamped as a 58 (ctt), actual TT & ST ctc measurements are 56.5cm square. Blue paint is darker in person than in photos, it is a proper Buckler navy blue.
Many ornate details throughout. Team Buckler paint livery, Colnago clover logo pantograph on lower headtube lug, chromed headtube lugs, Colnago stamped rear dropouts, aero routed top tube for rear brake housing, decals under clear coat, vented bottom bracket shell, wrapping seat stay caps, etc.
Paint shows scratches, marks, oxidation, etc. Chrome shows patina in spots. No damage that I can see other than cosmetic blemishes. This frame would look amazing with a fresh coat of paint, or preserve the Team Buckler paint and patina as is.
The straight blade 1" threadless chromed fork pictured is not original, and has very slight deformation to one drop out, but can be included for free at the frame's asking price. I also have an era correct and perfectly matching Colnago chromed & pantographed 1" threaded curved blade fork from a 59cm Super/C92/C94 that could be included for a good bit extra.
