It is with much regret and a heavy heart, that I’m listing my Geekhouse Rockcity (and my other Rockcity) for sale. I spent a lot of time on this bike and it pains me just to list it for sale. Injuries have left me unable to ride a track bike and have limited the time I can actually spend on a bike. While I really don’t want to let go of this bike, it deserves to be built, rode, and enjoyed, instead of sitting in the corner collecting dust.
So, about the frame:
I purchased it used in the summer of 2013. I rode it throughout that year and in the spring of 2014. I also have a Cannondale Track and always preferred the fit and ride of this bike. I’m 5’11” with a 32”-ish, maybe a bit shorter inseam, and I always felt this bike was a smidge big, but works because the sloping top tube.
Seat tube:
C-C: 56.5cn
C-T: 60.5
Top tube:
C-C Actual: 56cm
C-C Effective: 55cm
The powder coat is in great condition with typical wear from use. I've pointed out the only two notable flaws. The dropouts have some powder coat loss, but that is to be expected.
The price for the frame and fork is $1100 plus shipping (the King headset, Phil Wood BB and Thomson 120mm stem can be purchased at an additional cost if interested). At this point the bike is collecting dust, I'd like to see it go to a good home. Serious offers will be considered.
