Gitane Competition Piste Frameset circa 1970's
I believe this is the Mexico Model No.1904
BCM lugs (Bocama) with Reynolds 531 main tubing

Seat Tube (ctc): 53cm
Seat Tube (ctt): 54.5cm
Top Tube (ctc): 54cm
Head Tube: 134mm
Steer Tube: French Threaded - 25mm x 1mm (22.0mm Stem)
Bottom Bracket: French Threaded - 35mm x 1mm
Front Spacing: 100mm width, 9mm axle
Rear Spacing: 120mm width, 10mm axle
Wheel Size: 700c Front & Rear
Brake Holes: Fork is un-drilled, rear of frame is drilled
Serial Number: "3154 107" on BB shell, "107" on steer tube

Made in France. Includes original round blade track fork with BCM crown. Also includes French threaded Sugino track bottom bracket and French threaded headset (needs replacing). Frameset has a fair amount of wear, scratches, paint chips, patina, light oxidation, light ding in TT, etc. Would make a great restoration project or proudly preserve patina as is. Please see photos.
