This is a one of a kind, hand built, custom frame by Hampsten Cycles. Constructed from Columbus Niobium tubing which is light, stiff, yet provides a sublime ride. This frame consists of a MAX top tube, down tube, and chain stays to provide a stiff foundation for improved power transfer. The seat tube, head tube, and seat stays are made from Spirit tubing and provide some comfort to offset the stiffness of the bottom bracket area. The fork is full custom and was built by Curt Goodrich. It features a very rare Samson MAX fork crown with MAX fork blades. Curt put a little bend in the blades to further tune in the ride. This bike rides like a dream.
This fork has a one inch steerer tube so I will include the shim with the frame. The steerer tube has been trimmed down to leave a 5mm spacer on top. I am running -10 degree stem in slammed position. There is plenty of head tube here and a -6 degree stem with the spacer underneath can offer plenty of rise in the front end if need be.

The frame easily takes 28mm tires. This bike has been ridden as it was meant to be. There are the normal chips and signs of wear typical of a 4 year old frame. Only item of note is a dime sized chip in the drive side seat stay, just behind the crank. The paint is stock BMW Delfin grey and can be found a your local dealer. No dents or dings.
