He might be talking about a Chinese company that can make h a frame and fork like that but the cheapest I’ve found in us will do it for $1200 and they’ll make it aero tubing with rear wheel well, low pro , 1” head tube so yes your $800 is a very good deal maybe if you do $800 shipped he should be happy
I had a different company in mind that I contacted and they’re well established. The only issue I have is that if I’m paying almost $1,000 I want there to be a company I can contact. That’s another reason I didn’t end up buying his frame. They look very cool though. I wish him all the best in his future endeavors though.
