This is an early titanium bike. Speedwell Gear Case Co. made the Titalite, one of the first commercially available Ti bikes, back in the 70s. They would sell the framesets to other bicycle brands for distribution with their stickers and selection of parts. Mine was made in February of 1977, and sold by Dawes.
