A brilliant handmade Waterford cyclocross bike that came to me in a most unfortunate state. I got this bike from someone who owned a self storage facility and was cleaning out things tenants had left behind. With a seized seatpost, seized bottom bracket, seized rear brake barrel adjuster and cable preventing me from installing a new one, a rust hole in one of the chainstays, and enough loose rust flakes inside the frame to sound like a rain stick when you shake it, I decided this bike would be best suited for commuting a few short miles to work and around the city I live in. I built it using pretty much entirely free or almost free parts, and in such a manner to make it not look too atractive to anyone with bad intentions who may see it locked up.
