1983 team pursuit bike from the US Cycling Team. Raced ‘83 Junior Worlds: Roy Knickman, Kit Kyle and Tim Hinz. Team pursuit and Kilo. 85mm front; 110mm rear 24” wheels; aero tubing. Designed and fabricated by Mike Melton, Huffy Tech Center with narrowed hubs and BB to reduce drag. These were piloted to a slew of medals before the next gen was developed for the ‘84 Olympics, with a different stem/bar configuration.

A-mazing! I really admire the increasing focus of your collection on rare and technologically progressive race bikes. Personally, I'd love to see some geared bikes in the mix, but I also realize that that is a different dimension entirely!
