just bought this same frame - I'm in the process of turning it into a commuter - i bought some 26" bike planet fenders but there is a big gap from the tire to the fender. Did you modify the install of your fender to get it to hug the tire like in these photos? I realize this was posted 4 years ago so no worries if its no longer relevant.
