1997 Gunnar Street Dog Porteur

Bought it off CL in 2000 and have pounded the sh!t out of him ever since :) He's been a hipster fixie, dirt SS, and now a "I read too much BQ" porteur. GREAT bike.

Frame:
'97 Gunnar Street Dog, 56cm. Reynolds 853, 1" head tube, 120mm OLN, canti studs eyelets and bosses for real world use but the monster tire clearance makes proper fender mounting tough.

Fork/Headset:
(pix to come; the black one shown is a Surly Cx) Soma Classic Curve Cross. Tange Infinity. 389mm (original was 400mm), 44mm rake (OG was 42). Drops the high BB, steepens the HA 0.5deg, and drops trail into the high 40s. Perfect with a front load.

Crankset/Bottom Bracket:
'92 Campagnolo Athena 130BCD, 170mm. Origin 8 ISO 113mm.

Pedals:
Speedplay Drillium

Drivetrain/Cog/Chainring/Chain:
42T/17T freewheel, Wipperman Stainless Pista

Derailleurs/Shifters:
n/a

Handlebars/Stem:
Nitto Cro-Mo North Road 520mm, vintage Salsa Cro-Moto 120mm/0deg.

Saddle/Seatpost:
Brooks B-17, Velo-Orange 27.2

Brakes:
F: Dia-Compe 986, R: Dia-Compe 987, Tektro reverse levers

Front Wheel/Hub/Tire:

Rear Wheel/Hub/Tire:
Phil flip-flop 120mm, Mavic Open Pro, 36 x DT 14g, Continental Comfort Contakt 35-622

Accessories:
Velo Orange stainless Porteur rack + 45mm fenders, B+M Senso Plus LED, Chrome Porteur bag

More Info:
Considering ditching the Sanyo hub for a SP PV-8
