Really hope your frame turns out to be okay, would really like to see another built up.

crack in the headtube, its pretty much down and out. While I could probably get away with riding it with my svelte weight I just don't want to risk it. Trying to contact the seller as he seemed pretty genuine, but I'm starting to doubt that. It'll make good wall art though!

Yeah, I've been following the thread and wondered if the frame was indeed cracked or if the paint just cracked, sorry to hear that man. Do you have any info on the frame by any chance? I've got a similar one but know absolutely nothing about it.

What info do you need? There is still a sliver of hope, if i pop the bottom cup out and the crack isn't on the inside, that means all I have to worry about is the toptube wrinkle, which could very well be in the paint

When it was built preferably. I know they offered the Dream in different paints but it may give me a time frame of when mine was built.

My paint scheme is lx14 and I believe it is from '03. I'd imagine that the color isnt much indication of what the year is, but I could be wrong. Have you tried the S/N?

No, I haven't had a chance to do much searching with the serial number. You wouldn't happen to have a geo chart would you? I have a feeling the bike is too big for me.
