I feel like I always see your bike at ADT. I go there every Monday and Wednesday, and sometimes I see your bike, but I didn't wanna be weird/creepy and say hi and something along the lines of, "DUDE, I've seen your bike on Pedalroom" lol

Wrong guy haha good thing you didn't! I haven't been there in awhile and I usually only go there on weekends since I live an hour away and traffic is pretty bad.
Posted over 11 years ago
Yeah I wish I could go more but you know how high school is... I just get my riding in on the streets on my other bike.

Thanks you guys. Removed the stickers though; though that it'd look cleaner without them.

Mavic Ellipses for Mavics to Campy ;)
Posted almost 12 years ago
I've got these on my Soma now but I have yet to update it. I love these ellipses too much. ;)
Posted almost 12 years ago
I'm using these at ADT for my training wheels now, so I most likely won't ever be selling them haha.
Posted almost 12 years ago
Campy is only good for road bikes. Track, its all about Dura-Ace, maybe Rotor, and Mavic

great choice of components !

Thanks! I didn't wanna go too steep into the money pit for this bike since I'm only 17 and don't have all too much money, but I tried to get the most out of what I could afford!

Flip dat stem ;P Nice bike btw c:
Posted about 12 years ago
I would flip and slam the stem believe me but its just too aggressive for me :p
I get back and neck pains when its flipped even when I was in my more active riding days...
I just need to stretch more then I'll flip it! but thanks meng c:

Loving the build. How do you like the Mavic Wheelset??
Posted about 12 years ago
I have no complaints! haha
They're very smooth but I haven't broken the wheels in yet since I use this bike only on the track. However, they give great acceleration with having a rear wheels with only 20 spokes.
Posted about 12 years ago
Sweet! thanks for the review.. I just ordered my mavics and I am excited to try them out ;)
Posted about 12 years ago
Yeah I'm pretty happy with mine as training wheels, but I want to go to AC 420 tracks. They cost so much though :l
Posted about 12 years ago
how does that back wheel feel while skidding? thumbs up on this build!
Posted about 12 years ago
Thanks man! I don't really skid on this bike. actually I've never skidded on this bike. Money doesn't come in that much being 17 and I don't work anymore so yeah. I actually usually only ride this bike on the track.

hOW DO YOU LIKE THOSE DROPS? ARE THEY AS COMFORTABLE AS PEOPLE SAY?
Posted about 12 years ago
Not sure if sarcastic or not by "as people say" because these are friggin brutal. So if people say that, then they're pretty accurate. This whole setup makes me feel everything though. I could only imagine how they'd feel without the carbon to dampen the vibration. Some people put bar tape on them even though you're not supposed to, but whatever.
Posted about 12 years ago
hahah no I was being serious, a number of cyclist have them and say they like them, but from the looks of it I couldn't believe it... now you've confirmed that....
Posted about 12 years ago
Oh haha maybe they use bar tape on them.. i don't think they took comfort into mind when making these bars when they're intended to be used in a controlled environment..
I always use road bars if I want comfort.
Posted about 12 years ago
ha, yeah same here, on the velo I'll use the deda pista elimenti, but when commuting or cruising I use the bulls and oad drops, must chose function over fashion, been thinking about using som compact drops like FSA wing pro's.... one day I guess...ha
Posted about 12 years ago
nice man, hows the handlebar? it look really nice
Posted about 12 years ago
Thanks. They're ultra stiff and the sandpaper-like grip lets your hands really stick onto the drops. The tops aren't straight at all though so there's no room to stay up there.
