I'm in love with this bike. BMC's Tuned Compliance Concept is not just marketing b.s. after all. Even chipseal roads feel like I'm riding on smooth asphalt.

yummy yummy... cool bike... did you walk into a bike shop to buy a bartape but ended up with this bike again? ^o)

Haha thanks. I couldn't find this bike in any of the local bike shops so I had to order it from Competitive Cyclist. I figured I had nothing to lose since they have a satisfaction guarantee in case I chose to return it. I really wanted to see for myself why it cost twice as much as my SL01. It truly is a much smoother ride with the TCC seatstays, seatpost, and fork.

i havent got the chance to ride on Di2... does it drop gears automatically when you are climbing at low cadence?

No, it doesn't drop gears automatically. Shifting is the same as mechanical. The main difference is that the front derailleur automatically trims (similar to a friction shifter) depending on where you are on the cassette.

I love this frame and this one looks super sweet! I only have the road racer right now but hopefully I'll be able to get one of these in the future :)
