Haha thanks. I couldn't find this bike in any of the local bike shops so I had to order it from Competitive Cyclist. I figured I had nothing to lose since they have a satisfaction guarantee in case I chose to return it. I really wanted to see for myself why it cost twice as much as my SL01. It truly is a much smoother ride with the TCC seatstays, seatpost, and fork.

No, it doesn't drop gears automatically. Shifting is the same as mechanical. The main difference is that the front derailleur automatically trims (similar to a friction shifter) depending on where you are on the cassette.
