Great build man! T1 is such a sexy frame :) Too bad Cervelo stopped making them.. How do is it ride? Peace

Hi , beautiful cervelo t1, this magnificent.
I just mount mine, but not yet have any photos.
answer me one question, its stem 3t is 6 degrees?
thank you
Posted over 10 years ago
sorry now that I saw the comet down there with the same question.
Posted over 10 years ago
Beautiful bike. My only critique is that there is no valve stem caps. More of a pet peve though.
Posted about 11 years ago
what degree stem do you have +/- 6?
Posted over 11 years ago
Thanks for the info. Went with this setup myself and I'm really pleased. You've got an incredible build.
Posted over 11 years ago
Thanks a lot man, really liking that DA drivetrain on your bike.
Posted over 11 years ago
sweet ride bruh
Posted over 11 years ago
Thanks. Really appreciate the fact that you own a Colnago like that!

Can't stop going back to your cervelo. Absolutely beautiful. I might just build one after I get my LOW//. She is a beauty.
Posted over 11 years ago
Thanks man. If you think you like this one then you'll probably love my next build. Keep your eyes opened for an R3 that I'm building up.
Posted over 11 years ago
How do you like the 3T stem/handlebar set up? I'm leaning towards the same set up for my road bike.
I absolutely love your build by the way.
Posted almost 12 years ago
I absolutely love it man. 3T is THE best in my honest and personal opinion. Some people might say that these bars flex a lot, but I personally can't feel it. I mean I am super light weight rider and I lack upper body strength. So if you're just like me it will be perfect. Anyway I doubt any of that BS is true. Pros ride with these bars and they absolutely love them aswell and prefer them over the Team or LTD model.
And thanks a lot man, I just wish I had money for some Dura-Ace pedals, one of those new Fi'zi:k saddles, and fulll Rotor 3D+ drivetrain setup.
Posted almost 12 years ago
Thanks for the info. I'm not a big guy either. So I'm sure I wont be able to feel the bars flex if I tried.
I know around Sacramento and San Francisco we have bike swap meets all the time and if you have them around where you live you can come across parts at a really good price.
Thanks again for the info. Pretty sure I'll be picking up that stem/handlebar set up this weekend.

Saw this on my friend's tumblr haha. I was saying to myself, "I KNOW THIS CERVELO FROM SOMEWHERE!" Now I remember lol
Posted almost 12 years ago
love this one..just saw your cervelo on instagram :)
Posted almost 12 years ago
Yeah man. Really nice wheelset for the velodrome. Super stiff and aero and they have really buttery smooth hubs.
I don't have any complaints about them, I just wish they were tubular.
Posted almost 12 years ago
MEOW.
Posted almost 12 years ago
you keep updating your bike so that its at the top of the "recently updated" right? LOL
Tryna get fetureddddddddddddd
Posted almost 12 years ago
Lolwut? No, I'm trying to change my profile photo and it doesnt seem to want to change. And on the side, I also added more tags BREEEHHHHH.
Posted almost 12 years ago
I had that problem too. Just keep doing it, and it will change at one point. Thats what Coomer told me
Posted almost 12 years ago
In a few weeks.
We're looking into finding a really good setting to shoot. Only issue is that we need some kind of wall socket so we can get electricity for his lights and other equipment.
Posted almost 12 years ago
Gotcha. Would I be able to get a ride? I can't exactly ride my tubular's on the street. LOL.
Posted almost 12 years ago
Yeah if I can get my tank full before heading to your place I can.
Posted almost 12 years ago
Love the track setup!
Posted almost 12 years ago
Thanks man. Haven't talked to you in while, how have you been?
Posted almost 12 years ago
your chain... o.o
Posted almost 12 years ago
Josh, that's not track slack. That's called your gonna drop your chain in a sprint and crash..... Nice pics btw ;)
Posted almost 12 years ago
Btw have you had experience with the normal GXP? TBH do you feel a real difference between your Hawk vs the Sram Team GXP?
Posted almost 12 years ago
Yeah. The stock GXP BB is shit in my opinion. It has WAY TOO MUCH drag. I haven't had any problems but that, but I have heard complaints from countless other people about how tjeu don't seem to last, how the bearings break, etc.
Hawk Racing uses stainless steel bearings, yet it spins extremely smooth. Smoother than a DA bb or even Hatta 9400. So now with having this BB you have a drivetrain set up that is still pretty much stiffer than anything else out there (besides Rotor 3D+) and yet spin with literally no drag.
Posted almost 12 years ago
Wow just what I needed; some feedback on the Hawks. I was contemplating on which BB I should upgrade to, and yes the stock gxps that come with the omniums are way draggy.
By any chance anyone chances upon this BB? http://youtu.be/sZzONMraBLY
Posted almost 12 years ago
Ceramic bearings have short lifespans. IMO I don't feel the new redesigned GXPs to have that bad drag tbh. I'll probably go to the Hawks once I feel that they'll be needed. Use ceramic only if you're using it for the track since it'll last you a decent amount of time there.
Posted almost 12 years ago
That's what I get from my peers as well, and yes ive read on velospace that new gxps are much improved too. Shall KIV them Hawks :) Thanks

Whoever took those garage pictures doesn't know what he's doing #hahgaaay
Posted almost 12 years ago
I didn't realize how similar our builds are gonna be, cool!
Posted almost 12 years ago
I'm the one who emailed you the other day about those shallow Reynolds track wheels, remember? (:
Posted almost 12 years ago
Well that's the thing. I haven't been training in a few weeks already on 51/16 just because they hurt.
Its not that bad, really like the gear ratio, I don't feel like I get tired on it, not even for climbing.
I'm trying to keep this bike as track only, only issue it that I haven't had money to build up a road bike. I don't really have a choice for now I ride training setup on the road and my track set up only at the velodrome.
Posted almost 12 years ago
Shuttuppppp you know you're riding those Reynolds on the street! I know I did. Even rear ended a car with them and still never went out of true! Haha.
Posted almost 12 years ago
No actually I'm not man.
I only rode these a few times on the road when I first got them almost two years ag but ever since then they have only touched the track.
Posted almost 12 years ago
How does it hold up riding on the street ?
Posted almost 12 years ago
This bike is TRACK ONLY now.
Building up a road bike, should have it done within a few months.
Posted almost 12 years ago
Stiffest alu frame on the market? I think you forgot about customs like Tiemeyer. ;p
Unless you're so ridiculously strong that you can flex high end aluminum track frames, then I guess you wouldn't be able to tell though. However, you've got a sweet build. Planning on upgrading the bars?
Posted almost 12 years ago
I have never ridden a Tiemeyes but I have ridden other frames like the Bianchi Super Pista, Cinelli Mash, etc. and they all pretty much sick in stiffness. Number one being the Bianchi Super Pista; its super light weight and everything but the frame flexes on sprints so much. I don't think I'm going to upgrade my bars since I recently just upgraded to the 3T Ergonova Pro.
Posted almost 12 years ago
Oh yeah the T1 is on a diff level in comarison to the super pista. The Cinelli Mash isn't even designed for track so the lack of stiffness would make sense. Pretty sure the super pistas are made out of 6000 series alu as well. I just asked about the bars because I figured you wanted the stiffest out there. The ergonovas are plenty good though.
Posted almost 12 years ago
I like the initial stage more than stage two lol.. either way, all in all a great bike. Ride hard man
Posted almost 12 years ago
Love your new set-up. This is one of the sickest street-builds I've ever seen! Makes me want to ride fixed again, lol!
Posted about 12 years ago
Thanks man, but this isn't a street build. This is just my road set up for long distance riding/road training.
Posted about 12 years ago
you got those bars wrapped nicely!
looks good have fun
Posted over 12 years ago
Thanks, but they looked shitty when I had them on. I have new bar tape now, this time its wrapped all the way up for comfort reasons.
Posted over 12 years ago
Clean. lovin' it
Posted over 12 years ago
Thanks man, I like your build too. Only thing I would change is the saddle(:
Posted over 12 years ago
I'm using the 3T Ergonova Pro's, and I think they're one of the best drop bars I've ridden. I actually feel faster and more "agile" using these than, say, with the Deda Pista's I used to use. Very nice set up, by the way!
Posted over 12 years ago
Super sick build. I'm pretty sure following you on tumblr too lol. I knew this bike looked familiar.
Posted over 12 years ago
So, how is your leg holding up? I was the one who mentioned gear ratio and inches.
Posted over 12 years ago
My legs and knees are back in great shape, thank you for asking. I usually push 51/16 since I do longer distance rides with with hills, etc. I only do 51/15 on shorter rides with only flats and small inclines.
Posted over 12 years ago
WHOAH NICE BIKE.... too heavy though... LOL <3 whats a velodrome?
Posted over 12 years ago
Thanks man.
Lol, weight does not matter to me whatsoever. The stiffness to weight ratio is incredible. Plus extra weight means I'm working out more than other cyclist with pussy ass light bikes(:
Idk? What is a velodrome?(;
Posted over 12 years ago
Beautiful Cervelo T1. How do those Reynolds SDVC 66 Track wheels hold up?
Posted over 12 years ago
Best wheelset I have ever ridden. Good amount of depth; not too little, not too much. Super stiff and aero. You can feel the difference especially at higherspeeds and helps you maintain whatever speed you're at aswell as giving you a SUPER smooth ride. Built to last and super tough aswell. Thanks for the comment by the way, I'm loving this set up of mine. Its pretty much the best that ANY track bike can get.
Posted over 12 years ago
NICE BUILD!, cant wait to see it w/o those origin8 bars though. check out my T1
Posted over 12 years ago
Whats wrong with the Origin 8 drops? They're awesome drops although I really do want my 3T road drops a lot more for convenience reasons.
Posted over 12 years ago
1) theyre not up to par with the rest of the bike
2) 3t road drops are much more practical
Posted over 12 years ago
I can see what you mean, but it doesn't really matter man. The rider is the one that matters not the bike. I don't care about weight like everybody else does, I only care about stiffness and aerodynamics. I can't wait to get the 3T drops though. I don't have money at the moment but when I do get money I'll be buying the Izumi V chain first.
Posted over 12 years ago
Really nice setup..How tall are you? And how does it fit you?
Posted over 12 years ago
I'm 5 feet 10 inches tall. It fits perfectly. I love how this bike and my set up fit my body and preferences perfectly. I can't wait to finish upgrading a few more thing and start training hills ALL this summer.
Posted over 12 years ago
She's FUCKING gorgeous.
I'd break my neck looking at that fine ass bitch.
Posted over 12 years ago
schlonzo says:
How much does it weigh? One of the few frames that look good with deep rims. nice bike!
