Nice bike! How does it handle riding the streets? Does carbon fork make it less demanding for the road quality?

Thanks. I've had carbon forks before like on my old Pista Concept and this one is no different. Plenty of "solid feel" and rides nice.

quick question, is the bottom bracket italian threaded and would you need to replace the stock gxp bottom bracket for another?
Posted over 11 years ago
Yes, it's Italian threaded. You'd have to get an italian threaded GXP bb. The stock ones that come with Omniums won't work since they're english threaded.

One of these will work, only $26 - http://www.ebay.com/itm/SRAM-GXP-Italia...

Very nice. What kind of riding do you do in San Jose? Cruisin? Freestyle?

Wow, first time seeing this frame. what's the frame + fork exact weight?
Posted about 12 years ago
1450gr for frame and 354gr for fork so a little under 4 lbs. together.

Will it see the track?
Posted about 12 years ago
It will eventually. I live close to Hellyer Velodrome, it just really depends on my schedule...

Awesome build, first time seeing this frame. Any particular reason you didnt put the carbon seatpost on? Is it just a preference to Thomson?
Posted about 12 years ago
Thanks! The carbon seatpost it came with had too much logo for my liking... Might still use it one day...
Posted about 12 years ago
For sure, and I love the understated logo of the Thomsons, even better that it's a matching stem and post
Posted about 12 years ago
Did you purchased it locally? Thanks.
Posted about 12 years ago
I ordered it from Castle Hill Cycles in Austin TX. But any Bike shop that's a Pinarello dealer can get it for you.
Posted about 12 years ago
