1996 Colnago Tecnos. Teambike from Mapei. Ex-bicycle from Carlo Bomans (ex-head of the Belgian National Cycling Team). Later on it became the bike of Tom Steels at his first year at Mapei. I got the bicycle through a well known cycling collector. The story goes like this: Tom Steels rode the bike during his first years at Mapei. After that, the bike went to Rik Van Linden, who owns a bicycle shop in Wilrijk near Antwerp in Belgium. It was stripped of most parts and set up on a Tackx trainer. A lot of pro's would stop by to train on the bicycle, one of them being Kristof Goddaert, the young cyclist who passed away in 2014 due to an accident. This bicycle has quite some history and deserved a period correct build.

Thanks. I have added the full story of this bicycle. It has quite the history, it's probably the one I'm most proud of.
