I am looking into getting a Big Block and was curious how tall you are? I am 6 ft and I am not sure between a 55 or 58.

agreed. formula, sun, thomsons, atac, cetma, anniversary edition frameset kept above sticker bombing, & 32mm toughness all add up to one badass no nonsense hauler. don't ever change boyyyy

I'm looking to get a BB myself but i'm hesitant to which size to get (either 55 or 58). Since you've owned both, how tall are you and do you know what your inseam length is? Thanks!

Sure. I'm 6'0" (or 183cm), and I forget my exact inseam but my saddle height usually runs right about 30.5-30.75" (or 78cm) from top of saddle to center BB. I vaaaastly prefer the 55cm.

I guess you could use the Lemond method (saddle height = 88.3% of inseam) but I don't feel like doing algebra hah.

I'm 185cm with a saddle height of 81cm, I run 175mm cranks on my road bike but will probably run 165's on the BB. Would you think the 55 would be too small if you look at my road bike? i'll probably run a longer stem on the BB as well (the stack height is only 1cm lower, top tube 2cm shorter and seattube 1cm lower)

You could probably fit either size then. Kinda just depends on how you want it to feel at that point. I like my bikes, especially my track bikes, to feel quick and so I'm inclined to go smaller. I will say, the friend who ended up buying my 58 has similar dimensions to you and the fit looks fine.
