George Banke was a small framebuilder active in Texas in the 80s and 90s, who it seems eventually moved on to custom go-kart and motorcycle fabrication. Not a whole lot on the internet about these bikes. Picked this frameset up for cheap, though it is a bit rough around the edges. As far as I can tell, the frameset is built with some species of oversized Columbus Max tubing, at least that is commonly what Banke used in this era (from what I can gather). Will update as the build materializes. Very excited for this one, as I've been wanting to execute this build (Campy Record 8sp with dt shifters) for several years now. Going for a "restomod" vibe!
